Elizabeth Storm: Flingjutsu Project

The project nicknamed Flingjutsu, was a mobile PVP game focused on collecting heroes and building teams. It was an unreleased project I worked on while at Backflip Studios. I was responsible for character design, some background design, and guiding other artists on the visual direction of the game. This character in particular was meant to be a long range, spell-casting character named Elizabeth Storm. Click on the images for more details!

After receiving a description from a designer or writer from the team, this is how my process would typically go. Top Left: Initial thumbnails in which I focused on creating a confident, poised pose - I wanted her clothing/armor to accentuate a fiery, determined personality. Bottom Left to right: Color pallet options and the final key image.
